This distressed little side table is painted with flour sack white milk paint and sealed with a clear wax finish. I wanted a chippy look for this piece, so I did not use bond with my milk paint this time. It would be so cute as a bedside table or living room side table. I love how vintage and chippy this piece turned out.
Kiesha, thanks for stopping by my site and leaving your nice comment. I can't remember how I got to your site before, but I do enjoy seeing your furniture transformations. Coming from an "antique dealer" family, I just can't bring myself to paint wood furniture. But I like it... I am linking to your site on Friday with a poem I wrote inspired by today's post.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Donna! I really appreciate that. I can't wait to read your post on Friday!
DeleteKiesha, I had no idea that you transform, old furniture into showpieces. Your work is beautiful.
